Hi, I’m Lindsay!

I'm a mom of two active children! Between hockey, baseball, dance, gymnastics, school, and the everyday busyness of family life, I understand how quickly toys, clothes, and daily routines can become overwhelming.

I have spent over 20 years working as a teacher and administrator in early childhood education. Throughout my career, I learned that a thoughtfully organized environment does more than look tidy, it also supports children's learning, independence, creativity, and confidence. Every classroom I designed was intentionally arranged so children could easily access materials, make choices independently, and feel successful in their space. I saw firsthand how an organized environment encouraged engagement, reduced frustration, and helped children take ownership of their learning.

During the COVID years, when our family was spending more time at home, I realized how much of a difference intentional organization could make for our family too. Instead of constantly picking up clutter, I began creating simple systems that made it easier for everyone in our family to find what they needed, put things away, and enjoy our home. Cleanup became less stressful, routines ran more smoothly, and our spaces felt calmer and more functional.

That experience inspired what is now The Intentional Play Space.

Today, I combine my personal experience as a mom and early childhood educator to create organized spaces that are designed around the way children play, learn, and grow. My goal is to help families create systems that encourage independence, simplify everyday routines, and make it easier to enjoy time together instead of constantly managing clutter.

I believe every family deserves a home that feels calm, functional, and welcoming, and I'd love to help you create a space that works for your family.
